Huck fakes his own death to escape his violent drunk of a father and sets out in search of adventure and freedom. Teaming up with Jim, an escaped slave, the two fugitives go on the run, traveling along the Mississippi River. Huck wrestles with his conscience. Should he save Jim, or turn his friend in to the authorities?
